Great Gable war memorial
The cast bronze war memorial on the summit of Great Gable commemorating the members of the club killed during WW1. The club purchased 12 fells in the central lakes and donated them to the National Trust in 1923.

First Ascent of Kern Knotts Crack?

FRCC Centenary 2006
The Club celebrated its Centenary with a banquet at the Shap Wells Hotel on the 11th November 2006.100 years to the day from the day of its formation. The photograph shows the then President Eileen Clark with 14 Past Presidents
