Roy Broughton Sanderson, Lieutenant Royal Garrison Artillery.
Died of his wounds, aged 28, on 17 April 1918 and buried in Haringhe (Bandaghem) Military Cemetery.
Son of Frederick and Jane Sanderson. His father was a headmaster at Oundle school, and in 1911 Roy was an undergraduate at Cambridge.
He served with the 6th Siege Battery RGA, and is known to have died of his wounds. As he is buried in Haringhe, it is probable that the battery were in or around the Ypres Salient at the time.
His personal effects totalling £119 1s 8d went to the bank account of his wife Margaret.
