Grey Knotts Face - Outside Variation

This variation avoids the notorious Letter Box and offers good climbing in a fine position. Although this variation is harder than any other section of the normal route, some climbers may actually find this easier than the Letter Box!
2. Follow the current guide book description as far as the Letter Box in the corner. Continue up the short but steep corner to exit rightwards over a jammed block.
