The following first ascent information was received from Doug Elliot, unfortunately, due to an email malfunction, too late for inclusion in the guide.

The first routes recorded on Angler's Crag were by Joe Williams in 1938, but he climbed Shadow Wall, not Phantom Groove. At the time Shadow Wall finished up the top part of what later became Phantom Groove.

Holly Tree Groove (or possibly Holly Tree Corner) started from a sentry box to the right of Midge Arete, where a miner's initials are carved, but is now overgrown. First ascent, Joe Williams, 1938
Shep: First ascent, WA Barnes M Salkeld, DA Elliott, 1961

Angel's Step Buttress
Gog: This shoud be called Grog, first ascent by D Byrne, WA Barnes, 1961 (Gog was on Crag Fell Pinnacles)

Hook, Line & Sinker Buttress

Crystal Groove: First ascent, unknown but ca 1959
