North-East Buttress
The large left-hand buttress, almost opposite Truss Gap Farm. Numerous routes have been recorded on this buttress, some of dubious worth. The best climbing lies on a steep wall above a terrace immediately above the slab. This wall gives steep juggy climbing on compact rock which is not always well protected. However, the routes are mossy and have fallen into neglect so are best avoided.
All the routes can be started from the large grassy terrace above the slab gained by scrambling up vegetation to its right. The routes are described starting on the terrace from right to left.
