Good evening, my husband and I are hoping to join a group who will be going up to the summit of Great Gable for the rememberance service next Sunday. Can yo recommend some starter points and times as last year we were very late and missed the service.
Depends where you’re coming from! Good places to start are Wasdale Greem or top of Honister – allow three hours to be on the safe side.
Will the service be at 11 or 10? Does anyone know? Thank you
What time will it start please.
The FRCC President will give the address immediately before the two minutes silence at 11am.
Allow at least two and a half hours to walk to the summit.
