Welcome to the website of the Fell and Rock, the English Lake District's premier mountaineering club. We are celebrating our centenary this year, 2006-7, for full details of events here.

We publish a full set of climbing guidebooks to the area and a walking guide to the Fells. Also, we would encourage you to record any new rock climbs in Cumbria, or comments on existing ones, on our New Routes & Comments Bulletin Board. All new routes recorded can be found in Recent Developments.
Climbers should also check the annual Bird Restrictions which are updated regularly on this site.
