Climbs in the Lake District
A winter climbing
guidebook to the Lake District is published by Cicerone Press and
can be obtained from them or from most good climbing shops. For
several years now the FRCC has assisted Cicerone by gathering
information on all new winter climbs in the Lake District. Go

New Routes to record all new winter routes and comment
on existing ones. In particular the authors of the guide are keen
to unearth more on the history of winter climbing in the Lake
District as it is thought that many routes claimed in recent years
have probably had earlier ascents.
