2. There were no personal insults about SS. Both you and Stephen are fine enthusiastic climbers and no doubt fine gentlemen, obviously I don't know you on a personal level. It was fair comment about SS being damaged as many others said at the time. You are free to disagree, others are free to comment.
3. I have no problem climbing some Summer lines in Winter. The constructive criticisms I made having witnessed the ascent of SS were primarily concerned with the damaging effects of Winter ascents on Summer 3-star classics, rather like during the pegging era. I remind you that it was me who got the ill-informed bombardment of insults.
4. Seems really strange you missed my constructive comments on Dave Birkett's Gimmer Crack.
I also remind you that we are all climbers, we are all ladies or gentlemen, and I did send Stephen a photo of his SS ascent, AND a get well card in hospital when he nearly killed himself on Dollywagon.
