Crag:Doves' Nest Slabs Borrowdale p 285

Climbers:BJ Clarke (solo)

Date climbed:05.05.06

Description:Start at the central crack system of "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Trowels" (Sub Zero Slab). (4b). Follow the crack for 3 metres, then traverse right and up to reach a crack on the right. Follow this, and finish up the diverging cracks in the headwall.
NOTE: It's hard to ascertain the exact line of "Silent Partner" (HS, 2000) from such a brief description. The logical way up the left-hand crack is a serious HVS 4c. The out of reach right-hand crack looks well scary, starting and finishing as it does in the middle of nowhere!!
