The last comprehensive guidebook to North Cumbrian Limestone, the Border area, and the Eden Valley, was North of England Rock Climbs by Stewart Wilson (Cordee 1992). It has been out of print for several years now. It is intended to include those of these areas that lie within Cumbria in the next FRCC Eastern Crags guide, but this is not expected to go into print until 2008 at the earliest. With the blessing of Stewart Wilson, the FRCC has now made current descriptions for these crags available on the internet. As climbs are checked and descriptions revised, then it is hoped to update the information. Any new routes recorded since the 1992 guide have also been included.
