Fang

Fang | 21m | VD **
31-Dec-2016, Jason Weeks and Joanne Weeks

Start 1 m right of Fangdango on the large triangular fang shaped block that is separated from the crag. Climb the ‘fang’ and continue up the separated blocks to gain a ledge. Continue direct up a v-groove on good holds then the rib above to the top.

  1. You are quite correct Trevor, they both finish on the same final line. Fangdango is a harder variation of Fang.

  2. The recent route Fang looks very much like the start to Gene Genie then finishing up the fine arête of Nurture. Unfortunately the original route descriptions to Thrang Crag no longer appear to be on the web site. However there is a very good topo to be found in the new routes section titled Updated Photo – Diagram for Thrang Crag E and W.
Still scope for new lines on Thrang East?
