Lost Boys - Steel Knotts (Borrowdale) FA correction
Posted by: Trevor Langhorne, 21.12.201621.12.2016, Trevor Langhorne The first ascent of The Lost Boys on Steel Knotts (p 158 in the new guide) is incorrectly credited to P Whillance and D Armstrong on 8/4/1984. It was in fact first climbed by D Messenger and J Sharpe on 21/5/1995.
The previous guidebook (2000) correctly recorded the details, subsequently the route has been confused with a route of the same name on Reecastle Crag which was first climbed by P Whillance & D Armstrong on 8/4/1984.
