Subject: Route Comment – Central Gully
I climbed Central Gully on Rampsgill Head the other week and thought that the pitch lengths in the guide could do with updating. Pitch 1 to the described belay is 60 m and pitch 2 round the chockstones and to the top of the crag is more like 30 m. The grade of III 4 and the starring of 1 star felt about right to me.
