The slab was good but the exit over blocks and dead heather was worrying. A block hold inside a rabbit hole was my salvation. The only other comment on the route on UKC implies the exit has worsened since my ascent, and they didn’t record an ascent so presumably didn’t finish it. The g/b (p265) makes no mention of any exit problems. I checked the old FRCC new routes file afterwards which, correctly, says ‘nice slab ruined by a steep heathery finish’.
