The fences below this crag are substantial, consequently it is not easy to move between Central Slabs and Southern Buttress. The easiest approach to Central Slabs is from Hind Gill as shown on guidebook p275. The best approach to Southern Buttress is from the south near Stockley Bridge. Unfortunately the photo on p269 suggests that Central Slabs can also be approached by this southern route, to avoid inflicting physical damage on yourself or the wall this approach is not recommended .
