The 2019 Bird Restrictions are now in force until 30 June, details are in the Climbing Area of this site and also in the BMC’s Regional Access Database. Individual restrictions may be lifted before this date if the young fledge earlier than usual or if the nest fails. If you come across nesting Peregrine Falcons or Ravens on a crag with no restriction please contact the BMC Access Team and submit a note to this site using the Comment on a Route form – this will ensure that the correct crag and climb(s) are identified (we have several Eagle, Goat and Raven Crags spread across Lakeland).
