| Approach: | Park at Birks Bridge and approach as for Maiden Castle per: Follow the forest track to the turnoff to The Birks then head West up the main steep Harter Fell footpath. The crag is hidden just out of view and about 50m to the North of the path shortly before the angle eases and before Maiden Castle comes into sight. There's a bilberry covered terrace at the top of the crag with a fine outlook & various belay anchors. |

Another Duddon microcrag in a lovely position and less than a minute’s walk from the main Harter Fell track. Some short but pleasant enough easy routes on generally clean rough rock. Most of the routes are tricky to start then ease with height. It’s probably best to make a base camp above the crag rather than at the base.
