Posted by: Trevor Langhorne, 03.08.201603.08.2016, Stephen Reid The description of this route has been changed from the original as per the 2000 Borrowdale guide and I don’t think it is as clear as it was. In particular the photo diagram, p65 is misleading as the route actually drops down under the roof between the lines of routes 54 and 56 whereas the dotted line shows it going above the roof. Obviously one can climb just about anywhere on this buttress but please can we revert to the original description and correct the diagram in future Borrowdale and Lake District Rock guides?
