“Dan Dare”. III 45m . Dan Dare soloed by D Williams and O Ross.
Starts right of Harter Fell Gully. Climb up turf between rocks before a large recess. Turf leads to a slab then keep going straight up passing a small tree on the final area . From here we entered Harter Fell Gully by the ec identified by the large/flat/steep headwall.
“Capstone Gully”III/IV 70m. Moving down Harter Fell Gully there are two left leaning chimneys with a hanging gully above, this is “Capstone Gully”.
First ascent: O ross and D Williams. The line goes up a blocky line on the left wall until it is possible to traverse right to the bottom of the hanging gully, belay in a recess. Next go up via turf or the capstone. If you cannot find a belay then keep going up to a cave.
Up and left gives line down to 02 cairn.
