Good Medicine 20m F5+ ☆☆

The bolted line a few metres to the right of the gully where the first bolts of Douglas are found. This route climbs direct and starts between the appallingly loose and vegetated trad lines of Cliff’s Route and Brain Salad Surgery. 8 bolts. There is a cruxy bulge at one third height, to a lower off. Dries more rapidly than many other routes on the crag. 8 bolts.

There is an alternative left-hand start but it is prone to seepage.

  1. The two bolts equipping the alternative left hand start were removed 20th May 2020 due to the poor quality of that line (loose blocks and seepage).

  2. Felt slightly harder than 6a at the bulge?
Very enjoyable route. A good new 8 bolt long route at Scout, what a find!

    1. Thanks Mal, glad you liked it. Yeah, it got a few ascents yesterday – consensus was maybe 6a+.
