Fell & Rock Climbing Club

Climb Pendulum Gully until it splits at an obvious rib (approx two pitches). The rib separates Pendulum Gully (on the right) from Halcyon Gully (on the left). Climb up Pendulum Gully (approx 15m) until the rib can be climbed on good turf to the left. Belay at a large booming flake (good placements to the left) that sits on the crest of the rib overlooking both gullies. A further pitch of simple climbing leads to an easing of the angle. Another easy pitch leads to the top of the crag and overlooks Pendulum Ridge.
