Fell & Rock Climbing Club

The route ‘Ian’s Day Off’ was climbed on the 4.8.95 by me Ian HAZZARD and seconded by my wife Mary HAZZARD. I entered the route in the New Route Book at Needle Sports, and discussed some other routes I’d done with to Steve. I’m surprised to see it attributed to someone else two weeks after I climbed it : shame they didn’t have the imagination to change the name, as I climbed it on my day off from work, a Friday and stayed in Grange. I named it in celebration because it was the first time my evil boss had given me a long weekend off! I entered the climb into my Lakes Rock Fax climbing guide with a note that I entered it into the new routes book if you require evidence.
