This route had just passed its fortieth birthday and I have climbed it at least once every year, however I do get a bit peeved when folk cannot find or do not know the best line. From the lower crux, continue in the same line until it is possible to follow a slightly rising traverse towards the Ardus stance.  If queues and nerves allow finish up the thin crack in the headwall 2 metres left of the chimney of Ardus Direct Finish. If busy belay in the corner above Ardus pitch 2. The lower crux is well protected but varies from 5a to 5b/c depending on how you do it. It took me 39 years to find the 5a way, its not intuitive. 5b for the top crack.
