I think the textual layout in current (’94) guide is unhelpful. The final comment in pitch 1 text indicates a scramble from pitch 1 belay to get to p2. This reference is easily missed and the leader may automatically look at description for pitch 2 missing the scramble comment. The previous guide (’84) at least had a paragraph break there.
It would be better if the reference to scramble was included in the description pitch 2 text. Perhaps something like:
2) 21m Scramble 8m left across an open gully (Abraham’s Route) and beneath the steep left wall, belay advised. Climb easily leftwards up a slabby…
