Route Feedback: Eraser Head
Posted by: Jim Bird, 11.09.2024 My route has a poor description in the new sport guide and this is also represented poorly on the Topo, also it has been renamed by someone and given an even worse misleading route description.
It climbs from a couple of moves up the groove of TROAE , left onto a wall and then climbs direct to the second break (junction with TROAE) where you can climb the last move of TROAE or finish up True Path.
Eraser Head finishing TROAE 7b / True Path 7b+ is what it should be.

Totally agree. I did this route by this line (True Path finish) quite some time ago which as a great route. Subsequently most times when people have described their ascent they are missing out on the great moves on the true line or taking an easier and/or inferior line. People should do a triple of all the heads at chapel head (cement, jelly and eraser). Thanks Jim for a great route!
