Route Feedback: The North Side
Posted by: mandy glanvill, 10.07.2021 With the help of the Cumbrian Bolt Fund, we are retro bolting on the sunny side. Routes done so far are: Little Sydney, Pat Kelly, Laguna Verde and part of Blue Oyster Cult. This will continue starting with the easier routes. The old bolts are mixed metal, and there is severe corrosion on nuts and connectors in the anchors, also leanly placed, on occasion only one lower off bolt. All this is being rectified.
Well done Mandy (and Anne) – good to see this rectified.
Folk have varying opinions of Dalt Quarry – but it is what it is and a useful short sports venue – which should be much helped with rebolting.
