1) 120m: Climb Central Buttress to the large block on the crest overlooking Curving Gully where the angle of the buttress suddenly steepens. Climb a steep turfy groove in the buttress above for 10m to a good block belay (this is part way up section 2 of the route Central Buttress, as described on p.228 of the winter guide). 2) 50m: From the block belay traverse left and up along a turfy ramp line in an exposed position for 30m, passing a tricky, narrow section. The ramp steepens and becomes more of a groove. Follow this for another 20m to a good belay. 3) 10m: Climb the short groove above the belay to the top
