This year’s Scottish Hotel Meet is in the Killin Hotel from Saturday 18th to Saturday 25th May.  Killin is a beautiful little village on the banks of the Falls of Drochart at the western end of Loch Tay.  It is surrounded by Munros, Corbetts, smaller hills and low level walks in nearby forests and nature reserves.  The Ben Lawers group of 7 Munros is renowned for its alpine flora and 5 of its peaks can be completed in a single day.  Being on the edge of Loch Tay there are opportunities for kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding, or simply taking a boat trip from Aberfeldy.  There are plenty of points of interest to visit on days you might not fancy a long walk up a big hill – castles, stone circles and waterfalls of course.  If you’re going on the Cannich meet or the Pabbay climbing meet why not extend your stay and combine them with the hotel meet?
